Abstract: The present study is a reflection of the calamity the whole world is passing through. The study highlights the need for a prototype which supports continuous development and enhancement of knowledge in an unrestricted manner of the Women Library Professionals particularly in India. In the present study the role on Library Associations along with the strategic tools and policy to deal with paradigm shift has discussed.The given study proposes a model to train and equip the Women Librarians to support Open Access Environment in Academic Libraries in India. Perhaps, there are many Library Associations active however there is no such Women Library Association in the country. Therefore, this model is proposed to enhance the culture of knowledge and the dire need of qualified professionals in this Open Access world of learning.
