Abstract: In his recent message to the country, PM Mr Narendra Modi emphasized on adoption of “Made in India” Products. The step redirecting to make the country “Self Reliant” flooded the Whatsapp chats and other social platforms with memes and related texts. In a survey conducted by a US consultancy firm, 50% of Indian consumers prefer buying Swadeshi brands.
